Yesterday, Helsingin Sanomat published an article about Hálo brand clothes, behind which are two artists from Lapland, Jukka Puljujärvi and Marta Valtovirta. Their Reidar collection is made from the boards of Lapland's Reidar Särestöniemi. You understood right; the clothes are high quality works of art. That's why we also wanted them for sale.
Puljujärvi had already fallen in love with Reidar Särestöniemi's works as a child in the visual arts club and through that also drew a lot. In the end, he ended up in visual arts high school and through that he studied fashion design. Good for us!
"They once saw the Sunshine through frosty birches. He was so impressed by the vision that he wanted to capture the moment. The most famous and loved series of paintings called "Huurkoikoivki" was born."

The Reidar dress below is made from one of the paintings from the Huurkoivikko series called Yksiöinen ice. You can buy it here .
