Others sit on the nose of the pier, their toes skimming the surface of the water. They heat up the cabin sauna, and take a dip from the sauna boards into the lazy lap of the water. A bonfire burns far away on the opposite bank. And in the middle of the most beautiful summer night, no swimming trunks are worn.

Others set the table under the kitchen window, in the courtyard whose neighborhood has long since fled to the ground. They pour a little rose in their glasses, listen to the quiet streets and hide flowers under a friend's pillow at night. They don't look at the clock, they don't rush to sleep.

Midsummer. Isn't there magic in that?
Whether you spend yours in the country, in the city, by the lake or in the living room - may it be wonderful and full of magic! We Dotsi people run away to the embrace of their dearest friends and families already on Thursday evening (stores open until 4 pm), and we keep our doors closed on both Friday and Saturday. We don't worry much about the weather. If the Finnish Summer has taught us one thing: the laughter never stops when you are with your loved ones, whether the rain is pelting the eaves or the heat is spoiling.
And always get that sauna warm. Or exchange for an extra blanket!

On Monday, June 26, we'll be back to work again, and we'll open the doors as usual at 10 a.m.! Please stay tuned on both Facebook ( Helsinki & Turku ) and Instagram ( Helsinki & Turku ), we will have news for you on Monday. If you can't wait to go to the store, stop by our online store - we know the benefits worth bringing home!
But soon, let's just enjoy the moment - and of course see you again at Dots!
