"Oh Kunpa, I hope that as many people as possible would prefer local brick-and-mortar stores and domestic entrepreneurs. Of course, not everyone lives near shops, but there are also domestic online shops and many boutiques also sell their products online. With your own money and spending choices, you can support companies whose operations and values you support. That's why I'm going to continue to speak on behalf of local entrepreneurs and focus my purchases on them." Stella Harasek writes in her blog .

We residents of Dotsi have noticed a change in shopping behavior, which has forced many Finnish brick-and-mortar boutiques to close their doors. The reasons for this are environmental issues and the increasing number of large chains and their affordable online stores.
While the brick-and-mortar stores are disappearing, they will be replaced by large foreign chains whose values are very different from those of smaller companies. The experience is also changing, there is no longer expert service and a special shopping experience, but big discount sales and products whose origin cannot be certain.

What would the streets of our country's cities look like without personal smaller Finnish boutiques?
In relation to this theme, we would like to remind you that DOTS invests in quality products that last a long time. When you buy a product from us, we will tell you how to wash it and how to best care for it so that it lasts for years. (Read our post about care instructions for different types of knitwear)
For years, we have chosen our brand with very high quality criteria. We only sell brands whose quality we can stand behind and whose values we respect.
We want to offer our customers sustainable products, experiences, expert service and a good feeling. A feeling that is difficult to transfer to computer screens, but that is also our mission; we want DOTS babes who live further away from our stores to be able to enjoy our credit products as well.
We also strive to offer even more products made from recycled materials and from Finnish manufacturers in our stores. There will be surprises on this front soon and, among other things, the delicacies of Ecoalfi's spring collection are coming to our stores now during February.
